Sean Robertson

Sean began his advertising career in 1986 as art director for Sleuth Publications while enrolled at the School of Design and Industry at San Francisco State University. His outdoor career began 11 years ago as assistant part-time temporary art director for Gannett Outdoor, mainly charged with paint brush cleaning. After a few years of inhaling toxic fumes, Sean became creative director for Gannett Outdoor SF, then Outdoor Systems, then Infinity Outdoor, now CBS Outdoor.

As a Judge for the 2002 and 2005 Outdoor Advertising Association of America's (OAAA) Obie Awards, he was able to release himself from jail and entrench himself in the effort to further the advance of Outdoor Creative. Sean is currently Chairman of the OAAA's Creative Committee, tasked with making each year the "Year of Creative."

Sean consults, lectures and carries the flag for his passion of poster creative and when the combination of Guinness and Stolichnaya is just right, produces Addy- and OBIE- winning work.
