Myron Laible

Myron Laible is Vice President, State, Local and Regulatory Affairs for the Outdoor Advertising Association of America, Inc. (OAAA). He has been with OAAA for nearly twenty years and has extensive experience in advocacy, public affairs and federal executive branch activities.
Before joining OAAA, Laible was employed by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA). He served in a two-year right of way training program (worked with four state DOT’s) and had assignments in the West Virginia and Virginia FHWA Division offices as well.
Myron’s initiation to outdoor advertising began when he joined the 12-member “Beauty Branch” at FHWA Headquarters. A management position overseeing the daily operations of the national highway beautification (HBA) program was his last position at FHWA prior to relocating to the outdoor advertising industry (a move some say went from the “dark side to the enlightened side”).
Growing up in Montana, Myron retains close ties to his home state and alma mater (U of Montana). From a more personal standpoint, his goal is to get the youngest son off the family payroll – i.e., a college graduate aspiring to a real job! Myron loves travel, is an avid sports fan and former youth league coach.
