FOARE Projects
FOARE projects are designed to support critical and innovative research and education programs vital to the future of outdoor advertising. FOARE projects help ensure that outdoor advertising is competitive and a preferred means for marketing and promotion. FOARE has earmarked a new series of projects that will focus on the future of the industry. A sampling of these projects:
- A study to examine how outdoor advertising can keep pace with changes in automobile technology and other issues related to new modes and systems of transportation and their impact on the industry.
- Research projects on issues important to the industry with results to be published in major journals.
- FOARE sponsored outdoor advertising curricula for marketing and advertising courses. These materials are available by contacting Marketing Reseach Director Monisha Blair (mblair@oaaa.org).
The foundation is publishing a new report about the use of outdoor advertising in the nation’s urban landscapes, based on research by Dr. Robert W. Marans, University of Michigan Institute for Social Research and an emeritus professor of architecture and urban planning. The research report is titled: “
