An art exhibition which opened in New York might be described as 'out there' … literally. "Art Everywhere" is a month-long outdoor installation comprising images of artworks from five museums. Maxwell Anderson, director of one of the participating galleries, the Dallas Museum of Art, says the display can be seen in all 50 states and the District of Columbia. SOUNDBITE: Maxwell Anderson, director, Dallas Museum of Art, saying (English): "Fifty-eight works are being illustrated across the U.S. on tens of thousands of billboards and outdoor media placements for the month of August." Launched in Times Square, it's the the biggest media project in American history, spanning more than two centuries of U.S. art. SOUNDBITE: Maxwell Anderson, director, Dallas Museum of Art, saying (English): "We want people to talk about American art. We want the art works themselves to be topic of dinner conversation or water cooler conversation at work. We want art to be a part of everyday life." And in Times Square at least, it seems to be just that.
