General: Any company that owns or operates billboards in the United States.
Street Furniture: Any company that sells advertising space on displays positioned at close proximity to pedestrians and shoppers for
eye-level viewing, or at curbside to influence vehicular traffic. (Includes: bus shelters, bus benches, newsstands & newsracks, kiosks, public
telephones, shopping mall displays, in-store displays, and convenience store displays).
Transit: Any company that sells advertising space on displays affixed to moving vehicles or positioned in the common areas of transit
stations, terminals and airports. (Includes: Transit advertising, mobile billboard displays, bus displays, rail displays, airport displays, taxi displays
and auto wraps).
Alternative Outdoor Media: Any company that sells advertising space on non-traditional locations outside the home intended to reach a
more localized target. (Includes: airborne, beach, bicycle rack panels, gas pump panels, golf course, parking meter panels, place based media, postcard
stands, rest area, ski resort, stadium, and turnstile among others).
Associate: Any company or individual providing services or products to the outdoor advertising industry. Includes supplier,
financial and attorney.
Supplier: Any company or individual providing services or products to the outdoor advertising industry.
Financial: Any company or individual providing financial services to the outdoor advertising industry.
Attorney: Any individual or firm providing legal services to the outdoor advertising industry.
Affiliate:
Any company or individual who works for state outdoor advertising associations, other trade groups and coalitions, or
past OAAA Board of Directors.
Advertisers Council:
Any company or individual who is involved in the design, planning or media buying of outdoor advertising.
Includes advertisers, ad agencies, and media buying services.
State Outdoor Advertising Associations: Any state outdoor advertising association.
International: Any company or individual doing business outside of the United States and interested in the OAAA and its services.
